  • I didn’t realize how long it's been since I’ve said a single word on here! If I get the chance I’ll put up something new to update all the things that are changing.

For now, here’s a pretty cool quote I found during my time surfing the internet.

Life is too short to take your friends and family for granted. Too short to stay mad at an ex-boyfriend for dumping you. Too short to let the little things in life get you down. Don't stay mad at your friends over silly things... Without them life just isn't the same. They should always be there for you, always have your back, but if they screw up sometimes... forgive them and move on... Don't take life for granted. Take advantage of every moment and opportunity. Live it to the fullest.

    Pretty good huh?

  • time for another post

So everything's been going pretty well for the last couple weeks, (can you believe it's been that long?) and time just slips by so fast!

As I'm really close to the end of the school semester, I'm really feeling the pinch of finals and the like so a majority of my "extra" time is spent doing school instead of outside where I'd love to be. It's tough especially when the weather is as nice as it was yesterday (today's weather was a different story - wet and chilly).

I'm going to put up some pictures here probably after school is done the 4th of May showing the plants that I've been growing from seed, including some Moringa trees from ECHO! It's fascinating to see them grow so fast!

Oh something else, last friday we had 3 of our trees taken out because they were either dead or too close to the house, that was pretty cool! I got some pics of that too.

Well I have a project calling my name, better get busy, but just wanted to say something more recent on here. So there ya go!

I'll end with a couple prayer items:
    1. My back has really been quite a pain recently
    2. My math test today went pretty well to the praise of God alone!
    3. Finishing all my stuff by the end of the semester on time
    4. All 3 of my finals on May 4th (not looking forward to that!)

Alright I'll stop there, thanks for praying!

    I hate homework

So, the short of it is that I didn't get up as early as i could have this morning. That meant that when I went to work at 2pm and worked till 10pm, I still had a ton of work to get done. Now, it's 2:30 am and I'm almost done, thanks to Trevor's help with the math. All i have left is to finish up reveiwing for my Bio test that is at 8am. YUCK....
So i'll get a few hours of sleep then i have a whole day of classes and stuff ahead of me....we'll see how exhausted i am at the end of it! Not looking forward to tomorrow!

  • Long Time, No Post

I really don't know exactly what has happened to my exuberance of posting to my xanga, but I realize it's been way too long since the last post. I'll do my best to try to make my posting more frequent! I promise! And if I don't then get on my case, cause I really think that blogging is in a way a really good way to practice writing if nothing else.

I'll start by sharing with you some awesome music that Michael just found the other day, the best part is it's a free download!!! It's piano music for the most part too! Just click here and you can download it too.

The next thing: if anyone wants to see the pics from Friday evening at the CYA Community Dinner, here's the link for that too. I uploaded them full size so you can even print them out if you so desire, it does not bother me hehe.
    Here's my favorite:

So there you go, the first post in like 3 months!

Ok so I've been informed that I have to put up something new (and I do agree myself I suppose)....So this post is totaly because of Josh - got that? It's all because of your insistence that I am putting up anything

So...I'm back in school again, it all started this last week. I'm taking 3 classes - Math 111, Spanish 102, and Biology 101 - all at IvyTech. On Tuesday I take one at the Lawrence campus and one at the Carmel campus. Thursday is the same except add one class in the morning at the downtown campus. Yes thats right - all 3 campuses! It's not really my choice, but that's the way it has to be since one of my previously signed up classes got canceled a week ago! (that meant i had to totaly redo my class schedule ). It's all good now though.

Hm, any other news since my last post a month ago? Well Christmas and New Years went well - family time and the break from school were good, but i'm glad to get on with the next semester (i think).

Ok I'll stop there but I'm sure I'll be seeing a bunch of y'all at the CYA winter conference this weekend. Should be a great conference!

~I'm off to bed - class in the morning!~
